ESE Senior Joshua York wins first place in the St. Louis Area Undergraduate Research Symposium(STLAURS) for his research in Acoustic Source Localization.

The St. Louis Area Udergraduate Research Symposium (STLAURS) took place on April 4th with a total of 45 presenters from 4 different area schools. The involved Universities were Washington Univeristy, St. Louis University, Southern Illinois Univiersity Carbondale, and Southern Illinois Univiersity Edwardsville. ESE senior in Electrical Engineering Joshua York took the 1rst prize of $500 for his research in Acoustic Source Localization using Generalized Cross Correlation methods. This research was conducted as an undergraduate research project under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Arye Nehorai, Patricio La Rosa and Ed Richter.
