BS and Master of Science in Systems Science and Mathematics
Students in the joint BS-MS program seeking the degree of the M.S. in Systems Science and Mathematics are required to fulfill the following additional requirements: a total of 30 units, with at least 15 units at the graduate level and the remaining units at the senior level or above. Required courses (15 units) for the M.S. degree include: ESE 520, 551, 552, 553, and either ESE 415, 516, or 556. The remaining courses in the program may be selected from senior or graduate level courses in Electrical and Systems Engineering or elsewhere in the University. Courses outside of Electrical and Systems Engineering must be in technical subjects relevant to systems science and mathematics and require the department's approval.
