Washington University Funding

  • IMAGING SCIENCES PATHWAY
    A new Imaging Sciences Pathway will be available to students in graduate programs in the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences (DBBS), Chemistry, Physics and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

    The Department of Defense (DOD) is committed to increasing the number and quality of our nation's scientists and engineers. Toward that end, the DOD annually supports approximately 8,000 graduate students in fields important to national defense needs.

  • ARMED FORCES COMMUNICATIONS & ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATION (AFCEA) FELLOWSHIPS
    Fellowships of $15,000 each will be awarded to full-time postgraduate students who have earned Master's degrees or the equivalent and who are currently enrolled in a doctoral degree program in electrical, electronic, chemical or communications engineering, physics, math, or computer science.   • NASA AERONAUTICS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 
    The NASA Aeronautics Scholarship Program is expected to annually award approximately 5 three-year graduate students (up to $125,000) pursuing aeronautical engineering and related fields. Completed applications will be collected electronically from February 22nd through March 17th, 2008.

  • RESEARCH ASSOCIATESHIP PROGRAMS
    The mission of the NRC Research Associateship Programs (RAP) is to promote excellence in scientific and technological research conducted by the U. S. government through the administration of programs offering graduate, postdoctoral, and senior level research opportunities at sponsoring federal laboratories and affiliated institutions. Reviews are conducted four times each year and review results are available approximately 6-8 weeks following the application deadline.

  • STUDENT EDUCATIONAL EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
    The Student Educational Employment Program provides Federal employment opportunities to students who are enrolled or accepted for enrollment as degree seeking students taking at least a half-time academic, technical, or vocational course load in an accredited high school, technical, vocational, 2 or 4 year college or university, graduate or professional school.
